	&lt;p&gt;In addition, A Siegel at Daily Kos disscusses advances in &amp;#8220;&lt;a href="http://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/10/3/61410/6465"&gt;hydro pumped storage&lt;/a&gt;&amp;#8221;, which uses excess energy from a hydroelectric plant to pump water to a reservoir which can be used to generate power when demand exceeds output.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
